Its a good environment could use a little improvement but overall it's a great place.You get to interact with people you would have otherwise probably never crossed paths with and most of time if you're friendly others are friendly.

Hertz is a great place to work,its fast paced but not exhausting.There are great benefits and friendly people.I for one absolutely love this job!

The airport Hertz wasn't pleasant. The garage is old and run down. The car wash always breaks down. There's no heat in car wash. The detail bay smells of sewage. The place is disorganized . The new boss is great but the company wont put money to fix stuff.

The worst environment you ever can live in manager doesn’t care about anybody but themselves nobody care about the employer they don’t care at all companies great but they need to find the right management

They dont exactly tell the truth. Promised timely promotions which eventually came but with no back pay even when you were doing the work of the higher pay grade.
Upper management tells you to not say no to customers but wont get you vehicles to put the customers in.
You have to basically train yourself.

Kiss your personal life goodbye. You are solid the dream in the interview that you will be totally empowered and will move up the management chain fast. BWI is constantly understaffed and managers are treated like livestock. 50 hour work week never happens due to the constant understaffing. They use vendors that are incompetent and create even more work fixing their errors.

They tell you that you can take a car home as a benefit. Good luck getting anything you slightly like due to high utilization. Yet Directors will always have their choice. Directors spend their days barking on the walkie, sending you nasty emails about accountability and blowing your personal phone up with pointless text messages. Never coming out of their offices to simply lend a hand and pitch in.

If you have any sort of health issue, family emergency or something in your personal life happen. Be prepared for the directors to turn a deaf ear on you. All they care about is hitting their metrics and their bonuses. No matter the cost to their employees.

The environment at my branch is awesome! The manager is great and tries their best to get everyone equal hours with ample heads up time before a shift. The other transporters are great people as well and we all get along pretty well. Good pay for the easy work of just delivering cars
