Kiss your personal life goodbye. You are solid the dream in the interview that you will be totally empowered and will move up the management chain fast. BWI is constantly understaffed and managers are treated like livestock. 50 hour work week never happens due to the constant understaffing. They use vendors that are incompetent and create even more work fixing their errors.

They tell you that you can take a car home as a benefit. Good luck getting anything you slightly like due to high utilization. Yet Directors will always have their choice. Directors spend their days barking on the walkie, sending you nasty emails about accountability and blowing your personal phone up with pointless text messages. Never coming out of their offices to simply lend a hand and pitch in.

If you have any sort of health issue, family emergency or something in your personal life happen. Be prepared for the directors to turn a deaf ear on you. All they care about is hitting their metrics and their bonuses. No matter the cost to their employees.

I was told to go to local urgent care facility that does escreen testing (chosen by them) for a pre-employment urine test. Hertz recruiter got test results back the same day. Its a basic non-dot urine check, 10 panel i believe for non-dot. Process was better than i thought

Yes Hertz is a felon friendly company. It depends on what state your are applying in but in most states Hertz only goes back 7 years for the background check They figure after you get out of jail or prison they want to see if you can stay clean and out of trouble for 7 years and then they give you a chance plus they also want to see what you have done since you got out of jail. Like me for example I was convicted of a felony in 2010 and since then I have stayed out of trouble and even graduated college in 2016 plus had a stable job for 3 plus years since then and I just got hired on this week

My approarch to my job at Vehicle Control was more customer service than they approved of. Doing what I felt was right for the company and the customers made it difficult to make my minimum call requirements.
The micro management got to be insane. High expectations without knowing if or when you would get a raise.
