Management is unscrupulous and unpredictable. The place functions almost like a cult. No one really knows what code of coduct or personal values management abides by, if any. Anything can happen at anytime, depending on what side of the bed management wakes up on. Physicians are lifeless and appear indifferent to anything not billable to insurance. The patient naturally expects to see a personable clinician with a concerned demeanor. But sadly, experience, personal presence and skill appear to all be irrelevant in the hiring process. Cheap labor, eyes down and nose to the grind is the expectation. Quick refills and unpaid mandatory rounds at Green Oaks are the pinnacle of a clinician’s career.
Green Oaks in most’ s estimation is a psychiatric tragedy of apocalyptic proportions.
