Overall not a bad place to work

I am in sales and am a top performer, but the pay isn't good, but the benefits are, good insurance both health and dental, as well as employer matched 401k.

Good people, changing environment, fast paced.

Productive workplace with great people

-work was typically busy in millwork department-training was helpful, learned alot in short amount of time-management was ok, sometimes inconsistent-co-workers were great, everyone was nice-hardest part of the job was difficult customers-most enjoyable part of the job was helping and informing customers of their home improvement needs.

management, inconsistent job security for some, management favored some associates

It was a very good start up job that pays well for a young or retired person. I don't see much in moving up in the company for my self but I think its a great place to go and move up if you love people and love the Home Depot
