Fun workplace

I have worked at the ELC for a little a year now. I truly love working at the ELC! Most teachers are hired in as rover so they get to know a few different classrooms to see what age groups they like best. Easy place for advancement, one of the highest paying learning centers in Wichita.

Current leadership is poor at best

Once a great place to work, now on a downward spiral due to the new top leadership, who are woefully inadequate at running a college preparatory school. They have let go of all the top teachers and kept younger (cheaper to pay) employees or ones that don't question the status quo. Students and most of the staff are good and dedicated employees, though this is not valued by current head of school...

It is actually fun and productive and there IS a ping pong table!

You have to stick it out for a while as a student or teacher to find out that you really appreciate being here. It's not public school, or religious based and its thankfully NOT Collegiate... it's unique and kids are more prepared than they thought once they get to college!
