The Junkluggers is the caring, eco-friendly alternative to traditional junk removal. Our mission is to enhance lives, our communities, and the environment by donating, recycling, upcycling, and supporting local charities.

The amount of household and commercial waste that ends up in landfills on a daily basis is astronomical. We believe that a lot of this is avoidable, and with just a little attention to detail — and a lot of love for our planet, we can help reverse this growing problem.

Junkluggers has a mission they don’t take for granted; to dispose of junk/garbage while being as economical friendly as possible, reducing the amount of landfills, donating as much as possible. That’s the best part of working here is fulfilling that mission. With fulfilling this mission involves customer interaction. The more you do it the easier it gets. That’s how it was for me and my teammates and myself accomplished that with our performance. Chemistry is key to the workplace. Working together is the best as it gets work done in a timely fashion. Strategies are manifested as you do the work automatically. Work gets done in no time. Working here comes with a lot of risks known to you at the start. Make one mistake and you may never come back from it. Work-life balance can be concerning when working here. The benefits of commuting to here is getting reimbursed for doing so. Management is welcoming when you start and they will listen to you when you have to talk (occasionally). Management expects a lot out of you. If you aren’t pulling your own weight they will encourage you to do better in a good way. There are apparent signs of favoritism in the workplace you may notice yourself when you put the pieces together. Overall the job is a great place to work. The pay is good and the expectations are high.

The welcome wears off quickly. Culture is is non-existent. Don't expect meaningful benefits like quality health insurance, a retirement plan, matching, bonuses, HSA, flexible spending or any of those other things you hope to be offered. Keep searching.

The workers are paid poorly and treated poorly we have no say in anything and have to work under bad hazardous conditions everyday. You can’t get time off unless you tell them in a week advance and we get our schedules 8pm every night.

Everyone who works at the company has common goals with the management and it’s a very team-centered environment. If you enjoy going to work and having fun with the crew on every job, you’ll love working here.
