It is by design, never enough resources or staff available to do the job in an efficient manner where everybody can go home content after a regular hour work day. Except for upper management, who expect managers to stay hours after the job is completed for meetings.

I tell people that they will expect you to make Manhattan Club your entire life no exceptions. Things will always be made more difficult if upper management discovers you can do your job well. Always expected to take more on your plate while upper managers can do the bare minimum.

Once a year, but if you don’t bring it up to them they will let you continue without a raise while they hire people with no experience in the at the salary you had to work multiple years to get up to.
