Margaret Murphy is an unique educational setting that provides continuous staff trainings and a school environment that values the individual needs for students. Staff are provided with student specific trainings and support from clinical staff during the school day. Many of the clinicians at MMCC began their careers as direct support staff and have knowledge of the different master level programs to assist others in their future aspirations. MMCC provides staff with all educational supplies that they need for programs and creates a variety of fun events for students and staff. Staff at MMCC are allowed to wear jeans to work and allow vacations that are not based on the school calendar.

I have been employed by MMCC for almost 17 years and have felt completely supported by administration and staff during my time here. The students who walk through our doors get intense, individualized instruction and employees are given the training, mentorship, and ongoing supervision from multiple disciplines to provide the absolute BEST services to those students. I'm proud to work for MMCC!

The team at MMCC is pretty incredible. I work with educators and clinicians who truly care about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs. The work is hard- I don't stop moving most days....but we have a lot of fun. Our students have some very special learning needs- but everyone works together to help them learn critical skills for them to be successful. I am learning a ton while I go to grad school to move up in the company.

Supervisors, for the most part, are always available. Director of my site has open door policy and is a wonderful leader. Benefits and pay could be better, but its a non-profit so they're doing the best they can. Extra funds always go to staff and ceo is always fighting for more funds from the state. Work environment is fun and energetic, always room for fun with the kids.
