Always as stressful as you perceive it to be. Bottom line: Be prepared for traditional questions-- such as "Tell me about yourself" and what do you like about your job, what don't you like? What makes you feel that you can help us? And non-traditional questions: "How do you feel about working for a woman (or man)." I just got that question in an interview! MASTER THE INTERVIEW before arriving by having a list of at least 10-12 questions ready. AND NEVER, EVER SAY ANYTHING NEGATIVE in an interview. Consider your semantics-- for example, two negative words--Non-violence; Positive equivalent: Peace
Another two negative words: No problem! Positive equivalent: "Quite all right" or "It's all right!" Consider the interview process as an opportunity to show what you know.
When they send you to interview at the firm/company, CONFIRM everything they’ve promised you.
