Get rid of the web site. Web site takes any and all appointment requests regardless of actual availability or staffing because web site has no idea what has already been scheduled in the store or by phone. Web site also allows online purchases even if the part is not in stock at the store they intend to pick up from. Consequence: Customer buys tires or battery or whatever online and then makes an installation appointment at their local store for, say, an hour later. They show up to find the service department swamped with customers who already had appointments and then they are told their parts are not in stock. Then, the service writer gets a write up by the angry customer on the store web site. Recipe for failure.
