Fun when everything clicks

With a steady supply of work most days will go smoothly. Days where there isn’t much work can be more stressful when you have to hit quotas. Other than that it’s a solid place to work.

Awesome culture, terrible competitive pay

Pay is not competitive. Centers lack natural sunlight. High quotas. Upper senior management does not care about bathroom breaks, you need to hit a number. But the people I’ve met here are wonderful and extremely passionate about fashion!

Lunch allowances

Quotas

Fun for fashion lovers

Overall the job is cool for people that like fashion; the con is if there is low product your hours for the week will be low due to early leaves or late arrivals or management will put you in another department for the day.

It's a very hostile environment

They don't encourage growth and there is no motivation. Employers are selfish and only want their work done. Too much politics and hostility in the office. Managers are jealous and biased. If they don't like you, they will make sure that either you are out of the company or you are being overlooked to such an extent that you leave the company.

Pros

No Pros

Cons

Selfish employer, employees are not motivated or valued

Lost

No organization, there is a lot favoritism, the copywriter editors do not know Fashion terminology at all. They accept stained clothing, and in general too much. In turn they demand the new hires copies 127 pieces per day including measurements, and inspecting.. The employees that have been there for awhile can do 70 and 90 copies per day with no with no warnings. There is no leniency on this.

Pros

Transport from Bart, $60 meal plan

Cons

Trainers incompetent, editors and direct managers not on same page with goals and objectives.

High turnover rate

The receiver role has a high turnover rate because the company does not care about how employees are treated and their goals. They didn't try to sugar coat the position but at the same time try to hide the problems with the company overall. Don't work here if you plan to grow in a career.

Pros

Free lunches, healthcare

Cons

Short breaks, limited growth

Use this place as a stepping stone

A bit of a mess, you are expected to act as a robotic piece of the warehouse pipeline. They preach about inclusivity and a "family" environment but quite honestly it's all about production and numbers.

Pros

Lunch Stipend

Cons

Short Breaks, Overall Culture

I quit after less than two weeks

Very disorganized and training was an absolute mess. I was expected to authenticate items with not nearly enough experience. I honestly feel bad for the consignors and I would not trust this company with my property after my experience. Pay was not good, horrible location in a heavily industrial area of town, large quotas, and seemingly toxic culture. My first day out of training, they offered to send me home with no pay or unpack a large amount of boxes with dirty clothes and shoes, etc. Just no

Pros

Work in fashion

Cons

Too many to list; training is not okay

Absolute sideshow

A typical day at work: You will a lot of favors for stressed-out workers while slackers "finesse the system."What I learned: The hard-working employee is almost always expected to do their jobs as well as other worker's jobs from various different departments with little to no regard to how they wind up feeling after the shift is over.Management: After some time, you slowly but surely begin to feel a sense of hopelessness when you inform them of a serious recurring problem affecting production. Workplace culture: It always seems to be about the "buddy system" at that workplace. However, even if you do manage to become part of the buddy system, you wind up being the person that does the odd job (i.e.: how do you take your coffee or what lunch would you like me to order for you today.)The hardest part of the job: Navigating through the countless moments of slackers having casual conversations with other workers, hearing the complaints of hard workers and how management doesn't seem to care, and keeping yourself away from workers that are hiding in strategically placed racks at their work stations to hide from doing any work due to the frequent "pass the work along" situations. The most enjoyable part of the job: Clocking out to do more important things like build on your dreams or spend time with your family.

Pros

The daily examples and reminders of what your true value is as an employee

Cons

The inevitable feeling of burnout and exhaustion you will feel at this job...

Horrible

Was very excited to start working here than quickly realized it’s a horrible place to work for. management is incompetent and unorganized and the turn over rate is mortifying. good luck trying to get any time off in this place. they definitely will hurt your pocket by sending you home if there’s lack of work or if you’re not up to par with the set “goals” for that day. it’s a dead end job with no room at all for progression.

Incompetent Benefits and Unethical Goal Demands for Retail Teams

Increasing astronomical goals each month for retail teams just so they couldn’t pay the minority of those making above sales on the bonus structure. Very little support for retail teams and structure from higher management offered little guidance to accomplish demands that were unethical and unclear.

Pros

Coffee bar

Cons

Short breaks

Just no

Don’t do it. The managers don’t care about you. They pick and choose who the want to be nice to. You’ll see a lot of favoritism there. They want you to use your two ten minute breaks to make up things that are completely out of your control. They will pick on you & they are constantly breathing down your neck. They are so on top of you about your goal and if you don’t reach it every hour they could/will send you home. Just don’t do it!

Pros

$100 lunch every month

Working here is so-so

The only good thing about working here is that its super chill. The only downsides are they it can get tedious and management expect you to reach quota everyday, which is doable, but without the motivation and incentive, it can be difficult.

Pros

Free lunches, full time benefits

Cons

Poor management, boring tasks
