Very small (especially if you are skilled tradesman) and they go on a system of how many days you missed. If you showed up and didn't screw up you'll probably get max raise of maybe 4%. It's a bogus system and if you go in asking for a raise that you obviously deserve based on the current job market you'll be shot down very quickly and told you can go work somewhere else if you DESERVE more money. One more thing I'd like to put out there is that you'll be hired as skilled help but the guy hired after you doesn't have a clue and yall make the same money and he/she doesn't have to do anything right and they will still have a job. It doesn't make any sense to me. And God forbid you have to go to the counts as absences if you don't have vacato and the raise you worked so hard to get will be dismal because of the way HR has it setup. They also keep you in the very dark about things you should know concerning raises and how they work until you go beat it out of them.
