Financial assistant (Former Employee) – Grafton, NY – September 27, 2014
A typical day at work consisted of filing papers for different departments, also showing prospective students where to go in the office. The management department at this job was incredible. They were flexible with my school hours and able to work with me to find what schedule worked for me. The hardest part of my job was contacting students, trying to attain receipts for the purchasing department. The most enjoyable part of the job was learning how the purchasing department worked and learn the entire process of projects from start to finish.
Able to learn different tasks about working in an office
Lecturer (Former Employee) – Troy, NY – May 2, 2018
Administration does not support faculty at all. Will throw you under the bus for any little thing. Hiring Administrators at a high rate of pay but faculty at very low rates. Unqualified people running the show.
Career Planning Graduate Assistant (Current Employee) – Albany, NY – May 3, 2013
Working as a graduate assistant at The Sage Colleges allows me to explore my future career in a smaller setting. I hold time management counseling meetings with undergraduate students as well as aid students in correctly creating a resume. I enjoy being employed at a institution where not only can I offer my skillful services, but I continue to learn from my employers as well.
