Manager only cares about herself, is mean spirited and very demeaning to employees. Mean to employees in front of others and makes rude comments over the radio. Not worth the money.
The pay-they are the lowest paying company in my area.
At least pay the people that want to stay and work overtime WE ARE NOT ROBOTS
The worst retailer I have ever worked for. I was overworked, underpaid, not appreciated and mistreated as a coordinater for TJK. I could no longer tolerate the uncaring attitude of the assistant managers and an awful store manager. My 35 years of working for major retailers and always achieving the highest praise for my work ethic, retail abilities both visually and in training associates and exceeding sales goals are a waste at a company who treats there associates horribly and who makes the cashiers hound there customers to open the TJK credit card. So unprofessional. The management team and company expect backroom management and staff to work like slavery never ended by doing both backroom processing and duties and then do the floor coordinaters jobs just so they can get the equipment back to do their job the next morning Very audit / markdown heavy to the point that it interfers with getting product to the sales floor for purchasing.
Credit cards is all this company worries about. It’s really bad to a point when you don’t look forward to going to work at all. Cutting budgets weekly and expect the people that are there to do everything. It’s not fair and the company does not care.
The coordinater position is no as good as it sounds, the pay is only a $1 more then the minimum wage went up in my state by 75 ¢ so I was doing more work then half of the other employees and was only making 25¢ or then them, also no one trains people the only time someone would talk to u is if the wanted you to do something or if you had done it wrong
Constantly bugging you about credit cards every 15 minutes. Enough to drive you crazy. Nobody wants the credit card. No hours and low pay.
Credit apps,Credit apps,Credit apps..Every day all. The repeat,Customers can't even stand the constant asking. The Company is greedy but doesn't care about employees.Again Credit apps."T.J X rewards" All day long.
I will leave to work somewhere where my contribution is valued and my rights are respected.
If I was too leave it would be the pressure of credit cards. I understand that’s part of the sequence, but if I don’t get a credit. Management will question you several times about the same thing. I just don’t understand I could get 12 credits in one day, and the next day could be typically slow and I would get no credits. I just don’t understand this company. That’s all they talk about on conference calls is credit cards everyday nothing else. The benefits are ok, not much coverage. Full time employees should get more sick days, personal hours, and recognition. It’s always understaffed and it’s not fair that I have to stay over every single day because they are short on payroll. I feel used and get punished when I don’t get credits.
