What is it like to work at THE TURNING POINT INC?

3.0Work/Life Balance
2.4Job Security/Advancement
Productive with the clients most of the time but always conflict with some co-workers
Written by LCDC Counselor Intern (Former Employee) from Dayton, TX on December 16, 2017
A typical day at work was very unpredictable. I became much more aware of how to build rapport with offenders with mental illness. The hardest part of my job was dealing with stressed out, jealous co-workers as well as having limitations affiliated with the prison system.
The most enjoyable part of my job was engaging with the clients in group therapy - more ... and one-on-one
intervention. - less
ProsI enjoyed having an one hour lunch break as well as being able to leave the facility on lunch break.
Consin the winter no heat and the Summer extreme heat
