UCOP staff believe in the mission of the University and are fantastic. Good place to work with good benefits. SR. Management could be better at fostering teamwork and support of staff but it all depends on what department you work in;some department are better to work in than others. The offices are nice.

Poor leadership, inconsistencies and biases. Culture doesn't accept external insights for improvement. No accountability with front line leadership from Supervisors up to Executive leadership.
Maintenance Senior Specialist, CHES Facilities in Santa Cruz, CA
on April 12, 2021
- A typical day as a Maintenance Specialist was fixing anything wrong within a building. Such as replacing lights, faucets, painting and move furniture in the dooms.
