Age. They only like very young people. They arranged for a situation which forced me to leave at their direction.
I was forced out upon returning from major back surgery. HR sent me to be re-cast because I informed them I could no longer work in such an intense environment. The recruiter agreed I should be re-cast. Several days later I was told to return to my old location. I got knocked over 3 times and informed HR that I couldn't work there. He said "then retire". They refused to re-cast me. Now I have re-applied and have heard nothing.
Make working conditions with massive crowds safer for employees.
Their points system is very strict. I would leave to hours before my shift and on the worst day, I was 4 hours late. It was either get fired or quit.
I was laid off after 20 years. I was probably chosen because I was close to 60. Agism is very prevalent at Disney. They tend to push people out as they get into their 50s and you see very few people past their 40s.
I haven't JUST YET. I AM in the process of looking and IF I'm ABLE to find something, it won't be SOON enough OR TOO SOON for ME.
