They were nice and understanding! My managers were willing to listen to any problems I had back at home. Coworkers are the best part of working for disney!

Most Magical Place on Earth, Really!
Alternative Programming Intern (Former Employee) - Burbank, CA - September 12, 2019
My time while working at Disney was amazing. I got some experience in my field from a world wide company and got paid pretty well to do it. A typical day was pretty relaxed and set to a schedule. Everyone there wants you to do well, which was great as I was younger than most people in the office. I had my own office. It was great. The most enjoyable part of the job was the community environment. You could talk to anyone you encountered.
Pros
Great benefits, work-life balance, productive environment

Amazing, one-of-a-kind work environment
Safety & Industrial Hygiene Intern (Current Employee) - Anaheim, CA - September 9, 2019
The Walt Disney Company stands in a league of its own when it comes to running theme parks, and the original is no exception. Every department is so vast and has a company-sized workforce supporting each within, and makes for an experience where you can never know what the day holds going into work.
I've had the opportunity to gain experience from multiple fields of safety at once thanks to this huge scale, and the people you interact with couldn't be more helpful/friendly. The large scale can also make the job seem daunting at times, since it is nearly impossible to keep track of every person, procedure, etc. since the parks are practically like running a small city. There will also be those days where it can be tough to get what you need done by having to run things through multiple lines of business.
However, everybody is willing to give you a chance to grow and learn from your mistakes, and help guide you along whatever path you're struggling with. Excellent place to work overall.
Pros
Helpful leadership, freedom to take lunch breaks nearly anywhere in/out of parks, cast exclusive events, ability to get equipment you need to get work done
Cons
Interns lack full benefits/paid days off at first, large size of company can be difficult to work with at times, very specialized programs/skillsets to be learned that won't apply to many other jobs
