Enjoyed interning there
Counseling Intern (Former Employee) –  Palmer Lake, COMay 8, 2018
A lot of stories are going around about the work environment there and I'm sure they all contain valid points. This place hires on easily but also has a high turnover rate. About half the staff I came in contact with, however, had been there for some time.
Never had contact with corporate Representatives. All I know is that most staff in facility didn't have the required experience to give sufficient supervision so I had to combine sites. But they bent over backwards to accommodate what I needed, were very encouraging and treated me like a professional.
Pros
Good rapport and some creative license
Cons
Stress causes revolving door for most staff.

Honestly, I started out so excited to work for this company. In short order it became and continues to be the worst job experience I have EVER had..
Professional Staff Member (Former Employee) –  Portland Metro area (Oregon-Washington)April 5, 2018
Do not believe what you are told during interview or even in an offer letter. It all means nothing. Be prepared to be let go with no reason given or worse ... false allegations (along with respected colleagues and staff; you won’t be lonely. You will be in Shell Shock) Don’t plan on using whatever PTO is promised. Your facility (no matter where you work) will always be too understaffed to approve your time requests. If you truly care about helping people recover from addictions, providing your best care & working with like-minded team members.... KEEP LOOKING. This company is a FOR PROFIT business and nothing more.

It is not a mistake that the name of the company (1 of 3 names. Makes me wonder. Why 3 names?) gives little to no indication as to what service or product this business provides.
Pros
Day shift work
Cons
See above. Too many to list. The company made a great job unbearable.

Unstable
Intake Coordinator/Lead (Current Employee) –  Winter Park, FLFebruary 6, 2018
At the beginning it was great, everyone worked together, but as time progressed the environment turned very hostile. This place is a very unhealthy place to work

Terrible
Former Employee (Former Employee) –  Ridgefield, WAJanuary 25, 2018
Beware! This company is terrible! Management is not supportive and they lie to make themselves look better. The work environment is toxic and you can tell the employees are unhappy. The benefits are the worst I’ve ever seen and outrageously priced.

Horrible company to work for.
Nurse (Former Employee) –  Umatilla, FLJanuary 15, 2018
This company only cares about how many patients they can squeeze into their facilities and how much money they can squeeze out of their patients. They promise the world to get the patients to their facilities just for the patients to find out all they were promised were lies. Management makes sure to remind you everyday there that quantity is more important than quality. They care not about the patients wellbeing or whether the care needed was received, but how long can I hold them here until the money stops coming.
Pros
Occasionally feeling that you were able to change someone's life for the better.
Cons
Management, work atmosphere, Admission process, organization, communication, quality of care, respect, etc.

Intake coordinators concerned w numbers. Not people
Intake coordinator (Former Employee) –  Winter parkDecember 23, 2017
Worked as an IC for 6 months. Heard many lies told to prospective clients just to get them in the door. All that mattered was good insurance, not what was best for client. Clients not told they will leave with a bill now matter how good their insurance was.
Pros
Salary
Cons
Extreme pressure to make quota. High turnover.

Miserable work environment
Therapist/Counselor (Current Employee) –  Palmer Lake, CONovember 30, 2017
It is sad to spend so many hours in a job that not only gives you stress but people are all depressed already and rude. It is a very toxic place to work in. Salary is poor from what is worked. Corporate has no understanding or compasion for workers.
Pros
Beautiful location

Stressful work environment. Not enough pay

I would not recommend this company to anyone
Clinical (Former Employee) –  Upper Marlboro, MDOctober 8, 2017
Company is more focused on numbers than patient care or employee moral. Relatively new company, with lots of growing pains. Lack of support for employees, while they are micro managed by the Executive Directors at all of their sites. They did a major layoff with no notice in August 2017, with no severance pay to those they let go, and no remorse. Poor management from the top. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Pros
The location was beautiful.
Cons
Micro managed, lack of support for employees especially from the upper management

Terrible company to work for
Employee (Former Employee) –  Palmer Lake, COJuly 31, 2017
Corporate headquarters is in Florida, thousands of miles away and they have no clue as to how to operate businesses nationwide. Culture is full of fear as the National Directors are only concerned about getting paid so if you don't document to insurance companies you get written up and then fired. Clinical team is focused on keeping their jobs instead of helping the staff to grow and definitely not interested in helping people recover from addiction.....probably because clinical management lacks any semblance of recovery or knowledge of recovery as they are not in recovery - a bunch of dry drunks.

Beware.
Pros
Beautiful setting
Cons
Building falling apart, poor management, lack of understanding about recovery
