Good place to work for, but lack of promotion chances. If they paid more and didn't change shifts without any warning I would most likely be there still

Very negative place to work.
People Ops Generalist (HR Generalist) (Former Employee) –  Batesville, INFebruary 1, 2019
Company does not give much notice to the workers. They are only interested in getting product out the door. Supervisors do a lot of yelling at the employees and do not recognize them for the work they do.
Pros
none

Toxic af. Call center gig that monitors how many bathroom breaks you take. Don’t let you sit out your two weeks. Avoid like the plague unless you like lying to old ladies.
Pros
Free food
Cons
Watch you like a hawk

Assembly Worker (Current Employee) –  Batesville, INJanuary 16, 2019
It is very fast paced and can be very stressful. I will say the insurance is really good though. I would recommend it. I think they should do drug test.
Pros
The insurance is good.

Although the drive is long and so are the shifts the work environment is fun and so are the people there. You may spend a lot of time either walking around fulfilling orders or standing in one place packing orders but the good new is that you will usually be around some great people who are fun to work with.

Ping Pong table right
Inbound Associate (Current Employee) –  McCarran, NVDecember 13, 2018
This place is awful.. hours, pay , management. You are a disposable tool at Thrive market. They talk big, act like they care... BS. My family works here we all hate it. Everyone , except the few that management has on the floor watching and telling you what the company brain washes you with.. almost cult like. If you question one of the ever changing rules you are shunned. Treatment of employees is the worst I have ever seen.
They have a ping pong table corn hole crates and a Foosball table .. no time or energy for those .. not really sure why they are in the way even.
Do Not apply here... this job will hurt your ability to have a life... people are leaving rapidly .. My family has been lucky but many are not, older workers are not wanted here. We see them worked so hard they leave, or wrote up for being slow or Too Social. If you have no choice but to apply here inbound only,, we have it the best, picking is the worst don't even do that.
They hire outside and do not promote inside change .. unless you are connected to upper management, friend ect.
Pros
paid lunch but you still have to clock in and out in the 30 min time frame
Cons
hours, walking and pushing and pulling never stops, goals for picking / packing

Alot of walking and in all is a very caring work place. The part I enjoyed the most was the paid lunch and breaks. I really enjoyed working there and would like to go back.

Thrive Market is a great place to work with a pretty laid back atmosphere. They expect the job to get done and will work with you to improve yourself.

Be energetic. Don't go to school and work, you'll die. Keep asking how you doing at your position? They won't inform you if your'e lagging you got to take initiative.

Don’t waste your time.
Picker/Packer (Current Employee) –  Batesville, INMay 23, 2018
The worst thing about Thrive is the management, it’s awful. They lack communication with employees, change fixed overtime schedules too often, and disregard everything that is said to them when it comes to making improvements within the building. 3 Head management positions (1 was a transfer and 2 were fired) have been refilled in my time there as well as quite a few on the floor lead/supervisor positions. They go through people QUICKLY in salary as well as hourly positions. The work itself is easy and fast paced and most catch on quickly. The building gets very hot in the summer and they won’t add more fans to locations that don’t receive airflow. They understand that their turn over rate is so high and I don’t think they want to do anything to fix it. It’s easy to get a job here quickly, and full time + benefits. The job does have its perks, but the decisions that management makes with zero regard for their employees is what causing a lot of long time workers to walk out the door and find someone that pays more than $13 an hour. They also do not hire into the weekday-day shift.
Pros
Free EXPIRED food, paid lunch.
Cons
Poor Managment.
