Cutting hours with little notice. Going from 5 days a week to 3 with a weeks notice, and shutting down for 9 days is very hard financially. Many employees don't feel like they have a stable job anymore.

Phone call from Hr, then if you get past that step you have an official 1/2 hr phone interview with Plant Manager. If you get pass that then you have a panel interview with about 3 people with the stupid antiquated canned behavioral questions. Then finally a plant tour. Good luck, it appeared that nobody was enjoying their job at this plant. GRP Canton

Be transparent with the changes occuring with in the plant, especially if it effects your employees in any way. We have a new plant manager, been there for months, I've yet to even meet him. Couldn't tell you what he looks like. We're going to lose good employees because they're job scared. Cutting hours left and right. Letting all of the temps go, then posting a hiring sign outside??? LET YOUR EMPLOYEES KNOW WHATS GOING ON
