Difficult to separate the work from the quality of the systems. In short, they are a mess.
Database Tester\Developer (Former Employee) –  Chandler, AZJune 9, 2019
The systems I worked on are a mess, and there seems to be little drive to correct the issues. My manager was caring, competent. However, there was no Project Manager or Business Analyst ( those roles were performed by my manager). Manager had too many responsibilities, and the projects suffered.

Great for starter jobs
IT Support Specialist (Former Employee) –  Fort Washington, PAMay 20, 2019
Lack of career growth combined with non existent training initiatives combined with lack of vision from Directors (IT) who were retained and promoted over time as company (Nutrisystem) went through transition and survival over past decade. Workplace culture is nice - many nice people who are helpful. Other than this, it's relatively stress free environment and flat organization with Sr. Directors and Directors who have no reports.

Check bank deposits and record in my payment analysis, check emails. Bill clients if the invoices available, go to new client meetings. Afternoons do weekly and monthly forecasting and look for any aging invoices and notify the client.

Good company with great co-workers trying to make the world a better place, but the headquarters was not located near me and the distance to travel became an obstacle.

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Chandler, AZ 85286March 19, 2019
Not a good place for a career. Corrupt company. They lied about former employees. Telling Az DES that employees resigned instead of telling the truth that they were fired
Pros
Good hours
Cons
Bad management, company lies about former employees

Tivity Health is a great place to work. Company is very laid back and cares about the employees. The company treats you like family and wants to be able to succeed in job and with the company.

Great mission and great CEO
Colleague (Current Employee) –  Chandler, AZDecember 21, 2018
The overall company mission gets lost down the corporate latter but the premise of the company is very good. The best part is helping the member, the worst part is higher-ups with personal agendas that put themselves first.

Don't get catfished by this unscrupulous company!
Telemarketing / Recruiter Alt Health (Former Employee) –  Chandler, AZJuly 5, 2018
The first sign should be HR can't even spell NETWORK right on the job listing. Lets get it right the title says network recruiter...well your a glorified TELEMARKETER. So disappointed..I got duped like a lot of other good people I met throughout my time there. All of us left for the same reasons. Very shady and untrustworthy business practices. CEO says he believes in open door, yet if you participate and give honest opinions your management team will put you out to dry. He has NO idea what's really going on. No respect for all the hard work & will ask you to perform your job in unethical ways within the medical community. There are much better companies to work for out there, for much better pay and the respect you deserve. Their bad reputation is getting around the community, so do yourself a favor and start looking. I wish I could give 0 stars!
Pros
High end catered leftovers from management lunches
Cons
An embarrassement to the medical community

Fun company to work for, but a lot of changes that aren't promising anymore. Not sure where the company will be in the next year or two. I love what we do and stand for.

The higher ups run the company And do not care about anybody under them supporting the whole company
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Chandler, AZFebruary 22, 2018
And do not care about anybody under them supporting the whole company. They pick and choose people from outside of the company and don’t know how to handle anything and let go of people then they quit themselves
Pros

Poor Leadership
Account Manager (Current Employee) –  RemoteFebruary 2, 2018
What once was a caring, enthusiastic, motivating work environment has become a cut-throat, exhausting, unappreciative, negative environment. There are still many great people at this company, however most seem to be on their way out - whether on their own will or they are let go by management. The leadership team would like to paint a picture of an overall positive, collaborative culture with just a few negative colleagues ruining it for the rest. But that is not what I've experienced at all. In fact, the colleagues I interact with are always very hopeful and eager to try new strategies and to stretch their skills - it's the new leadership that has been brought in that treats employees so poorly that has created the negative atmosphere. Employees truly care about each other and don't like to see their fellow colleagues treated bad or unfairly.
Pros
generous PTO, program that helps people, inspiring CEO
Cons
Executive team that reports to CEO is disrespectful, egotistical and does not carry out the CEO's values. No respect for PTO, leadership that likes to bad mouth colleagues, instability, lack of promoting from within, lack of new products/services

Regular Employee (Former Employee) –  Chandler, AZNovember 28, 2017
There are many things that were looking good at Tivity Health but far too many lay offs made the culture toxic and unpleasant. People came to work daily in fear of losing their jobs and sacrificed ethics to remain employed.
Pros
Good time off

IT organization still in reoganization
Product Owner backlog (Former Employee) –  Chandler, AZAugust 18, 2017
No solid direction for IT since transitioning from Healthways. The work always was in fire fighting mode with no long term plans. The relationship between the business and IT was not formalized with Product Owners but rather constantly competing priorities.

Excellent Company & Culture
Senior Accountant (Former Employee) –  Franklin, TNAugust 15, 2017
Worked as a contractor for less than a year but was definitely the best job I ever had. The company culture, people, values and workplace amenities are some of the best out there. I loved everything that this company stood for. Very relaxed work environment and dress code, but everyone still worked hard and worked together. And because all those great things were in place, it made my job more enjoyable. Will definitely work here again if the opportunity presents itself!!!
Pros
Parking garage, onsite cafeteria, fitness classes, relaxed culture
Cons
