Typical day at work is to arrive at your assignment store, rotate the magazine stock (and/or other displays - books, merchandise, etc. as assigned), might have to take a picture of a display or complete a short 5ish question survey about a new display, then leave when completed. Assignments can take anywhere from 15-20 minutes, to 4-6 hours, depending on the store and the amount of merchandise to rotate. Assignments are to be completed on the day for which they apply, as long as you're done before 11pm CST (12am EST), it doesn't matter when you do it on that day, but must be on the assigned day. You can come/go as you please to get it done, so long as you are clocking your actual work hours. It's flexible on the day of, it's not terribly difficult, but getting your shifts covered is somewhat tricky, and there's no allowance for paid or pre-arranged time off. But, your team lead and/or manager are usually the best resources if you need to be gone, or need help. LOTS of emails from the company, and printing out materials for job assignments can be expensive and pain. Doesn't pay very much, though, and holidays just mean the work gets pushed off to a different day, if a holiday falls on a regular work day - you have to make up the work another day in the same week.
