Not structured efficiently.
Direct Support Professional (DSP) (Former Employee) –  Cedar Rapids, IAOctober 22, 2018
Unorganized. HR did not inform me when I could sign up for benefits. Training/introduction was done by a person not assigned for the task, and could not answer questions.
Pros
Flexible schedule.
Cons
Unorganized.

Would not recommend they hire full time at 40 hours a week and only gave me 29. The clients are awesome but they have poor management. They are only concerned about getting paid

Do not work for this company!
HR Associate (Former Employee) –  Parker, COJune 8, 2018
This company takes advantage of employees whom are good natured and want to please everyone. They overwork them, underpay them and fight to pay overtime wages. The owner of the Parker facility uses government money and employees for her own personal housekeeping services. The current employees are forever seeking other employment and the turnover rate is nothing I've ever seen before.

Easy going as long as you have a positive attitude
Support Specialist (Current Employee) –  Cedar Rapids, IAApril 20, 2018
This place has many different homes and each home as its own unique set of challenges, some are relaxed others are quick-paced. The clients can and will change, each day is a different day. Night shift is a good shift as you are paid to sleep. It appears that management is a bit scrambled as we have gone through a few supervisors and it appears at times they are disorganized as they will try to schedule a meeting and expect you there with a 24-48 hour notice.
Pros
Relaxed, Easy Shifts
Cons
Money, Disorganization

Personal Care Worker (Current Employee) –  Denver, COAugust 22, 2016
They work to provide the best services possible to the consumers they serve. They have many options available to them that allow them to serve a wise range of people. They provide adult day programs, cleaning services, transportation services, as well as respite services.

Most of the positions are underpaid, work required to be completed off the clock, and a completely unprofessional work environment

You get a sense of great pride when you help others gain their independence.
Driver and Transportation Mgr. (Current Employee) –  Parker, COSeptember 24, 2014
The company will help you succeed in areas that you are most comfortable. Taking the pressure off anyone who feels that they can not do the task.

Anyone who is willing to work hard and operate under the company's guidelines will not only succeed but will have an opportunity to get into a manager's position.
