FRONT DESK OFFICE ASSISTANT in Ashburn, VA

Typical day for Adm/Receptionist consist of answering the phone and greeting vendors. I learned about purchasing material for building a new home, the background check for the closing on a new home and accounting responsibility of the company that builds the new home. Work place culture is great for young pretty ladies and old man. After two years and two months; I guess i was not a good face for Toll Brothers; being a senior citizen and not a pretty as the young ladies in the office. It was time for me to be let go with a great stipend and able to collect unemployment when stipend completed.

Used to be a great place to work, family oriented and they cared about you. Since, Don’t expect much, what have you done lately mentality in everything they do. Hopefully has changed, but go in with eyes wide open and watch your back.

Loan Processor in Corporate

Management says one thing but does another. They will say they are proud of how well your team is doing but will instantly focus on all the mistakes. They do not accommodate disability at all. If you are good at your position you are stuck there, they will never promote you. They expect too much of low level employees and act shocked if they don't/can't deliver.

I really enjoyed it there. I only left because business got really slow and they cut our hours. Could have paid more but that's any job really. I would work there again.

What is the best part of working at the company? The clients. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Documenting every walk in, telephone etc. Hardly had time to be clients, the temps did that. Sakes reps had to work on contracts and various paperwork. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Negative. Cliky work environment where things were micromanaged. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Working with clients was very exciting. Great people would come in with various personalities. Loved guiding them to their dream home. Staff was another story. Never trust anyone there.
