Counterperson (Former Employee) – Atlantic City, NJ – August 24, 2014
A typical day at Tony Boloney's consists of cleaning the counters, setting out pizza trays, restocking plates, napkins and cutlery, promoting new pizzas and subs to customers, selling t-shirts, assisting guests, engaging in conversations with varieties of people and maintaining friendliness and cleanliness. While working there I learned customer service skills, server skills, how to make pizza and how to make fresh mozzarella cheese. The management there was good. They were very hard workers, they were always on top of things and always kept everything under control. My coworkers were very hard workers, friendly and entertaining. They made getting through a long shift fun, but they made sure everything that had to be handled was taken care of on time. The hardest part about working at Tony Boloney's for me was dealing with the heat in the summer. There were times when it was uncontrollably hot behind the counter because so many pizzas, subs and fries were being prepared. The most enjoyable part of the job was seating a big party, which was often and engaging in laughter and fun with them.
