I had issues when I worked there. I tried being the best I could but you knew when people didn't like you. It was clear.

Answered

I was hired on as a key holder, but got exactly zero training. Was expected to just inherently know things.

Pretty much allowed to wear whatever you liked, typically what was sold there. You just have to look fashionable of course bc you are working for a clothing store. The only thing that was not allowed was tennis shoes (unless you had a valid reason for needing them), flip flops, and anything inappropriate. You could eve wear graphic tees, just have to up dress them with like accessories or a cardigan/jacket.

Answered

Favoritism (which is frowned upon by the company, it has its own policy), not enough hours, no room for growth, lack of correct training, and constant blaming on associates for not selling enough credit cards (which most of the time the customer does not want to get into that type of trouble).

30 miuntes to an hour depending except if you start the same day s orientation, they would show you around the and explain each job of every position.

I did the application on their website and LITERALLY I got a call from the store manager 10 minutes later. We set up an interview for 3 hours later, and I got hired on the spot.

Answered

Torrid is about being "fashion forward" for their dress code, so if the ripped jeans were part of a stylized outfit, then yes I think that would be appropriate.

Answered

When I first started at torrid, they embraced tattoos, piercings and different hair color with certain limits. The expectation now, is that you reflect what their girls look like in the marketing
