Know that this company has a very very high turnover rate. There are many reasons for that. Just a few reasons: low pay, no pay raises in 4 years, no structure, good ol boy system, selective enforcement of company policies, no team building, no incentives, unskilled middle management.
Total has been on a decline for a longtime now.
Resently bought by yet Another Investment Company and though it has been bad for sometime its worse yet. No raises, Everything is cut to the bone and not much bone left to cut from accept the Top where we all know it isnt going to happen.Go somewhere where one hand washes the other. Because it wont happen at Total
Think long and hard because the company is currently going through a reduction in force. They are letting go of the ones who actually work and keeping management that absolutely does nothing and that is proven in the ebitda for their business units.
Get everything in writing but that might not help
Get it in writing. Believe nothing verbally. Do not expect advancement opportunities.
Don't expect to make a lot or get a raise.
