Director (Former Employee) –  New York, NYDecember 29, 2018
This is the worst environment to work in. A Cut-throat, Back stabbing culture. A V.P. that doesn't have a clue that hires people that are more clueless than him. A revolving door where people get hired and leave shortly thereafter because of the environment of mistrust. Definitely do not put yourself in the mess that is Touro College.

Audit dept has no full-time employees, so everything falls on you. Only hiring unpaid interns who have no experience and no knowledge what to do.
staff and front desk (Current Employee) –  Brooklyn, NYDecember 6, 2018
Unsupported and uncomfortable work environment and office culture. Male Orthodox and some female Orthodox remain clique-ish and aloof toward non-orthodox employees. Employees must pay for office necessities and later deal with cumbersome reimbursement. Top-down management style discourages employee contributions. Foul language in workplace was prevalent. Administration unsupportive of work environment and …

The day started quietly with the group circling the auditorium and watch that the students did not cheat on exams that was made up for the class they were giving.

I learned patients from standing all day, i was able to read the material that was presented.

workplace culture had a variety of people who were kind, and generous toward the hold staff.

Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  New York, NYNovember 1, 2018
Quiet and sometimes friendly vibe. Would recommend as a helpful bonus to have some previous knowledge of some medical terms or take time to study their manuals. Overall, not a bad experience. Easy to learn just by repetition and asking the right questions.
Pros
Quiet, can meet interesting people
Cons
Can meet stuck up people

It is very flexible to work in Touro while you are a student there. You pick your own hours to work, so you can easily do classes without overlapping.
