Everybody lies, from Account Manager all the way to HR. You never know where you stand and god forbid you do a good job, the Account managers feel threatened and make it their sole purpose to get you transfered, demoted or fired.
They make a lot of promise that they dont follow through when they hire you
Company policy is to pool tips at the end of every shift i disagree with this policy 110%.
Pooling in my opinion is bad it does a few things all bad. #1 Encorurages you to be lazy,you realisitclly could sit in a chair and at the end a shift when you split tips you get a portion from everyone that actually worked and you did nothing at all. #2 It promotes dishonesty most everyone i worked with kept a portion of there tips they figured everyone else does so will i BAD. This was brought to the managers attention and fell on deaf ear. There is a better way you earn it you keep it very simple. But you need to be organised and management needs to back you. I was there to provide great customer service but Towne Park wasn't interested something i will never figure out. I've seen it done right and it does work and at the end of the day everyone wins including the guests i thought thats how it was supposed to work. FOR WHAT EVER ITS WORTH. Thank you
