Not great, but decent pay

The people were rude, the fresh paint odor was sickening, and it was very hot with zero air conditioning. The pay is worth it if you are in a pinch, but there are certainly more cons than pros.

Dangerous place to work

There are many reasons why Tracker has a revolving door for their employees. Mgt and HR do not care about them. Be prepared to breathe all kinds of nasty chemicals. Your food will taste of it.

Cons

salaried employees work ~60 hour weeks

good pay and not to hard of work

as a gel coat sprayer it wasnt hard as long as you have good attention to detail. the hardest part was spraying metal flake and it was just paying attention to your coverage. the pay isnt bad and when i worked there managment was ok

Pros

Cons

sometimes long hours

Nasty Work

The job is a very dirty job, you are around fiberglass all day long and no climate control. The work is what they call seasonal meaning they decide what season you work.

pays good lots of hours

A typical work day for me was in the detail department. I learned to detail and repair fiberglass boats that also includes to spray or paint them with gelcoat. My coworkers were fairly responsive to teaching me the ropes of the job, but not alot of room for error. The hardest part of the job was that I didn't get to see my family alot on account of all the hours we were working wich was fine except there was a lot of grinding dust from the fiberglass boats wich over time made it difficult to breath. The most enjoyable part of the job was learning new things and working with the people. Everybody was doing the same job wich made it easier to work with everybody and made questions readily available to you.

Pros

a factory learning expierence good leadership skills

Cons

short breaks, short luches
