Great culture. Perhaps becoming a tech project shop.

I haven't worked at Traction for over two years, but when I started it seemed about 50% branding, strategic marketing and campaign development and about 50% specialized technical work for clients (e.g. website development, email coding, UX/UI) but the later seems to have mostly taken over.
Great culture, but management seemed to struggle with overall strategic vision and winning new clients.
Great ideas. Great team. Questionable leadership decisions.

This was my first and only boutique agency experience and the agency principals gave me a lot of room to direct my own account and creative teams—often pitching in on a variety of creative assignments. I left the agency because of a less-than-adequate new hire who was placed as my superior. My once trusted role was eventually micro-managed and belittled and this is what ultimately forced me to make the hard decision to leave on my own terms and start my own agency.
incredible creative output, great team and initial mentoring.
