The worst. Shifts start as early as 4AM or if you are participating in a remerchandising of the store you will have to do it on an overnight shift. If you want to advance within the company this is a requirement. Also though you may be scheduled only until 12am you are expected to stay if the work isn't complete. This happens often as crew often calls in sick and stored are understaffed to save money to begin with. It's not as fun as they make it out to be.
Long and hard
They have a few different shifts but it depends on the department you are in
At my store opening shifts are 6-2pm, mid shifts are usually 11-5pm (unless you’re in high school in which case it’s usually 3 or 4 to 8pm), and closing is 2-10pm or 3-11pm
If you back up your work they will always have hours for you. At my store they schedule everybody 37.5 hrs and your welcome to help and make get your full 40. I wish they let me stay overtime..
At my store, openers were 4am to 2pm, mid shifts were all over the place, and closers 2pm to 10pm. But closers almost always have to stay late.
8AM to 5:30 PM
I have to be very flexible with my working hours because I cover other shifts when people are on vacation or because of illness.
Pretty lenient especially if you back it up with hard work. But for the most part you’ll see yourself on the morning crew, middle of the day or nights. If you’re new you might find yourself on nights for little bit.
As you want!
