Stressful

Each shift gets along well with little drama but it’s more like a psych ward than nursing home. Administration doesn’t care about the residents or employees

no communication

you get yelled at for things that are out of your control. upper level management is never on the same page. they switch DON’s like crazy and can never keep secure staffing. they treat employees like they’re easily replaceable. it’s all gossip and drama here.

Unfair workplace

I worked in the housekeeping department. The amount of work put on this department is astronomical and for the little pay, its not worth it. For the work that is done by this department, it goes unrecognized. Would love to be offered bonuses and a big pay raise like the CNA's and nurses are offered all the time. Considering the housekeeping department are the people that keep the place going. Not only that, would like to get 8 hours a day paid instead of just getting paid for 7.5 hours a day.

I worked there for several yrs and had seen many changes of it changing from a hometown place to nothing more than corporate ran facility that did not have the patients rights or best interests at heart anymore they did not treat the staff very well in the end either they were to the point where they were so short staffed they wanted you to work 24/7.
