It is as fast as one week if the position is approved and needed for hiring. You have a 3 month probationary period but after that all benefits are enabled. Full time positions with a chance to work remotely if approved.

Lack of communication
Lack of understanding new lines of business
Lack of support for a new employee
Lack of understanding client needs due to overall disregard from colleagues and those with knowledge to help expand business
Lack of seeing the strengths of their employees
It is a boring task - there are 500 other people doing the same thing, and when there is another area that has very high earning potential, they collectively miss the opportunity due to the above stated issues

Ridiculous - too long and not thorough, it seems as if the high level employees don't know the market as well as they claim and the areas where their services can return good profit
they tend to focus on things that one person has an issue with about you and bring it into the interview process as it progresses - they need to train the interviewers on what not to say -
