The interview process at 1st was good. There was some time involved and follow up I had to do in order to finally secure an interview. I was shown the truck body shop facility and it certainly is a top notch facility. The attention to detail In the manufacture of the lube and truck service bodies and quality control were outstanding. The down fall. They require you take a skills and assessment test on line which I did well on the sales portion but not so well on the skills assessment portion. I have never felt that these tests truly indicated skills very well. I have a 143 IQ so I'm certainly not of below average intelligence. So they had me come out for an interview knowing that I had truck parts experience and experience selling to the market they sell to, just not the truck body experience. After the interview, I was told to call back in a week and they would let me know one way or the other if they were going to move forward with me. Because I had thought I did so well during my interview, and felt certain I would be offered the position, for a few weeks I held of on applying to other companies. I would call every few weeks, only to be told by the recruiter he did not have an answer for me yet. Finally got one, pursuing other candidates. They are still running the ad, as well as for other locations throughout the country. My question would be, they knew my background, I was almost offered the position while I was at their location, why waste someone's time that does not have the background in truck body sales if that was a deal killer?

The culture of this organization is absolutely terrible. There is NO team work. Ownership and management are only concerned with filly their own pockets. The put on a good fa├žade until you scratch the surface then watch out. The place is a revolving door unless you are "one of the guys". Terrible.
