Truck Driver (Former Employee) –  Great Falls, MT 59405April 5, 2018
they did not pay you while you were waiting to unload at the plant. they do not pay you for holiday worked unless you're there for 90 days. Equipment is not geared for the loads.

Transportation Engineer (Former Employee) –  Columbus, OHMarch 9, 2018
The office was productive but also fun. We worked as a large group to meet deadlines and goals.

I had a great mentor there as a young engineer, and take those lessons with me as I move forward in my career as an example of how to be a positive manager.

Truck Driver (Former Employee) –  Sidney, MTMarch 4, 2018
Enjoyed working with other drivers. The job was easy. The shifts were never the same which was hard to get use too. Trucks always had issues but the shop was good at helping to get it back on the road

Good place to work. Some supervisors are a little to full of themselves.
Surveyor (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GADecember 18, 2017
Working with the higher ups at corporate is a breeze. They are understanding of any problems and are eager to fix them. The company has a small feel to it even though it is a large engineering firm, very hard to find.

For seasonal work in was great. It was good pay and work was slow. It was not fast pace for out of town pile operators
Loader Operator (Former Employee) –  Worland, WYDecember 7, 2017
For the job to only be seasonal it was good paying and good schedule if you got the shift that worked with you in your everyday life. You had to deal with the cold a lot and being alone 80% of the time but it was not very demanding physically. The beet harvest only last 3 months tops so for someone in between jobs it helped get you buy for awhile threw the tough winter.
Pros
employment in winter, laid back environment, most people employed were good people, chance of full time if desired, always had job season to season
Cons
seasonal work, short term, boring, down time lasted long time most of the time, had to travel in summer for full time.

Corporate confusion
Engineer (Former Employee) –  Kansas City, MONovember 6, 2017
This company has so much potential to be great, yet every time there is momentum a new corporate dictate comes down and everything has to change. Either a new process, team assignment, work flow, etc. Their philosophy is that if it ain't broke, fix it and pay someone in the corporate office six figures to do so.
They buy companies across the country and then close them quietly. They are much more concerned with their top heavy corporate salaries than having grassroots success.
But the production staff is filled with bright and friendly people. The work is interesting. The benefits are great. They have the potential to be a great company but only after the upper management gets out of the way.
Pros
Interesting projects, good benefits, good people
Cons
Corporate management

Diverse work culture, open door to management, hardest part of the job is that equipment doesn't like working correctly in sub-zero temps. We work the equip hard, so needs repair often.
Pros

Intermodal and Industry Rail Specialist (Current Employee) –  Charleston, SCMarch 20, 2017
-Metrics don't make sense. We are recorded on our utilization; however, the calculation is based on total hours worked rather than billable hours. This causes issues when billing overhead in excess of 40 hours.
