It takes roughly 2 months to get hired with Travis County,
The position is posted internal/external for the length of time the hiring manger has requested. Once position is closed applications are sent to hiring mangers, applications are screened, knowledge test are presentation assignments are given to the applicants of interest. Panel interviews are offered most times afterwards, recommendations are made and jobs are offered to those applicants that are the best fit.
