Production Operator in Fernley, NV
It's a good place to work lots of Overtime. Management is in there own little world don't care much but about themselves. Overall most people don't last due to the kind of work we do there.
Maintenance Admin in Fernley, NV
Very disorganized and the worst management, from the top down, that I have ever seen. I don't know what else I can say. This company took I job I have loved doing, a job I have worked at for over 25 years and turned it sour. I wish I had never accepted the position.
Forklift Operator in Fernley, NV
Trex is only worried about pushing out product. There are numerous issues in the Fernley plant which don't get addressed, until they hinder production. Nothing gets preventative maintenance in the facility, so nothing works properly. The company does not care about family or religion. They feel like they own their employees, and often mandate them to work overtime on days they are scheduled off, often turning 3 day weekends into split days off. Even if you tell them that you can't work that day for whatever reason, and giving points when you can't ablige their request. They tend to have a very high turnover rate. They fire, or force the hardworking few to quit, while keeping the trash employees who do no work or randomly disappear for extended periods of time. Leaving the area understaffed and expect one or two people to do the job of three to five people. They have one individual who literally gets away with everything and is rewarded with "Perfect Attendance," even though they have had "no call, no shows" for entire work weeks and the individual isn't responsible for doing any overtime, mandatory or otherwise. The individual is reckless and dangerous, hitting and destroying things and other pieces of equipment, yet still keeps their certification on forklift. So if you are looking into working for a company that literally makes you earn your pay, as well as expecting you to earn other's pay for them, than maybe Trex is the place for you.
Manager in Winchester, VA
An exciting organization with lots of opportunity as it rapidly grows. They have invested a lot in recent years to grow the infrastructure to meet the businesses needs. There is more work to be done in this area, but they are on the right track. You’ll find the culture, support, and work-life balance varies by department depending on the manager. Excellent product. Great pay with good benefits
Process Technician II in Winchester, VA
Not a good place to work if your looking for decent pay or home time. Not many options for advancement unless you can talk a lot of b.s. or are buddy-buddy with management or corporate. Point system is absolutely ridiculous. People who do advance into leadership roles definitely didnt move up because they were good at their job. Decent place to work until you can find something better but thats about it. If you're looking for a job that actually treats you well/pays well/ and won't sccrew you over first chance they get, then trex isn't what you're looking for.
