Step down or hire a more experienced management team that can assist. Perhaps some classes or mentoring in relation to professionalism for his team-(they laugh and joke about the employees during their "closed sessions", dress like "mentally ill" patients with excessive makeup and flowers in their hair) and some leadership classes for himself. Maybe they could hire a consultant to help him learn to lead and communicate with employees because we are almost embarrassed for him.
