Loved the clients but not the company
Independent Living Coach (Former Employee) –  Joliet, ILMarch 9, 2019
The overall company its self is a horrible company to work for. Upper management think they know what’s best when they don’t even work with the clients on a day to day basis. There is a lack of communication throughout the company. You have to work overtime just to make a decent amount of money because the pay is low.
Pros
PTO and Vacation Time; Convenient Job
Cons
Stressful Environment

Issues Unresolved
Employee (Current Employee) –  Chicagoland Area, ILJanuary 13, 2019
Issues don't get resolved here. They fester because upper management just sweeps them under the rug. You can't live off what you're paid here so you have to work multiple jobs. Because of this, you are overworked and stressed.
Pros
It's a job.
Cons
Will always be plagued with problems.

Great Place to Work with Amazing People
QDDP (Former Employee) –  Joliet, ILMay 3, 2018
Working at Trinity Services was my first job out of undergraduate school. I truly loved working with individuals who have a wide array of abilities and needs. I had an amazing supervisor, who provided me with great leadership.

Ilc (Former Employee) –  New Lenox, ILSeptember 8, 2017
going in talking to the people i'm working with, helping preparing dinner, chores, all people are different with different needs, management was great when you needed something within services, working for such a low pay for what you do, working for the people.
Pros
taking them out and see that they love it, helping them cook, and learn new things.
Cons
no lunch breaks, low pay.

Love the clients hate the staff and management
Independent Living Counselor (Current Employee) –  Peoria, ILAugust 19, 2017
The clients are awesome! The management needs work. They are all young and don't know how to successfully run a business. They always mix business with outside life. They don't know how to balance the two.
Pros
Unlimited overtime
Cons
Low wages

Political
Job Coach (Former Employee) –  New Lenox, ILFebruary 23, 2017
If you don't get along with the higher-ups you wil not move up. If the developer doesn't like you then in will show in your hours. The pay is poor and they expect so much out of employees that get paid so little. If you like helping people and don't care how much money you're making then it's a good fit. However, this is a terrible place to grow a career out of.

co workers are great
Independent Living Counselor (Former Employee) –  Wilmington, ILJanuary 13, 2017
Trinity doesn't pay very well and their benefits (insurance) is way too costly. However they have bonuses that help out and the work is close to home. The company employees are very caring. I just found it too uncomfortable to work with handicapped people.
Pros
close to home

handicapped clients

Helpful company
Personal Support Worker (Former Employee) –  New Lenox, ILJanuary 21, 2016
Not a bad company! They are non-for-profit and in business to help others that want to reach their full potential. However, there is not really much advancement. The pay is low and the work conditions were not very secured. Many of the disabled individuals were too aggressive and very dangerous. Also, there was not much training in this position
