Walking into this organization I noticed a drastic difference in culture with how all of the employees engaged with one another, laughed and worked as a team, than with what I'm used to in a corporate setting. It seems like people actually know each other here and aren't just a number. The dress code is relaxed, people are more laid back and free to be themselves than the norm. Of course this is a place of business so there is your every day hustle and bustle, and depending on your department, not much hand holding. Some days even require extra cups of coffee and hours on the clock to research and get the job done, but the autonomy and flexibility are well worth the effort. If you're a resourceful individual that is able to drive results with little supervision, then this is the place to be.

I have worked for TriSMART Solar for 2 years in Onboarding. Even though there has been a lot of changes in a short time, it has been to better the staff and company. I have learned and grown so much in the HR department. Everyone is easy going and truly appreciate my co-workers.

You’re just another number to them. Aslong as the owner is making money, he doesn’t care. Poorly organized company, no common sense, they don’t pay well , horrible management, high turn around rate.

Such a disappointment!! Negatives-Lack of training on every department and very poor management communication with employees on all levels...all the way up to the owner of the company. It didn’t matter if you were a manager or Senior leader of a department, you were still not getting the correct support you needed to be successful in your role as leader. This is why the turnover rate has always been so high at TriSMART.Favoritism is also a thing in their work environment when it comes to employees, most likely due to family owned company mentality. Many co-workers were also very toxic to the work environment and would do inappropriate and unprofessional things during work hours, with managers aware or turning an eye to it. Being there for a few years, i can now say, it was truly a waste of my time and talent. Again, disappointing on so many levels.

I technically didn’t get fired over a text. It was more so my crew lead at the time telling half our crew that tri smart don’t need us anymore so it’s time to go! Also to add they had us finish the job for the day then had our crew lead tell us witch is something the office is supposed to do, I guess they didn’t have the guts to tell they’re “only” crew to hit the bricks. Pay wasn’t good anyway. Overall I give this company 3/5 mainly bec the people I worked with. Also after I got fired I tried out they’re sales position witch had nice management until I walked out into the call center room and heard a higher up employee yelling at his employees like they’re less them him! As if this job is the only thing people have to live for! I will not be apart of any company that treats they’re employees that way.
