Raises are rare and work is physically demanding. Very unsanitary work environment. Best for people in a tight situation very easy to be hired on. I stayed as long as I did for the scheduling.
Pros
Every other weekend off.
Cons
Demanding work with low pay.

Field Technician (Current Employee) –  Somerville, MAJuly 18, 2018
I feel as if this company doesn’t pay you enough for the work that we do on a daily basis, we mostly deal with hazardous material and what we deal with we’re definitely worth way more.
Pros
Good company, good people.
Cons
Hourly wage

Field Services Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Astoria, NYJuly 17, 2018
I learned a lot at Triumvirate over the years. It takes a certain type of person to work there though. You will work extremely long hours with not the best pay. Unfortunately you have to relay on overtime to make a good income to live in NY. Most weeks you will work 55 hours + but sometimes as much as 80/90/100 (depending on job title). Management is good depending on which field you work in. They act like they care about you but sometimes it felt like nothing got done. The best part about it is your coworkers. All are really cool and a relatable since they go through the same work days as you. Overall it is a tough job but good for beginners in the environmental field.
Pros
coworkers, benefits, vacation days
Cons
long hours, less than average pay

Accountant (Former Employee) –  Somerville, MAJune 25, 2018
Pros

Best Reasons to work at Triumvirate:
1) You'll make a few friends
2) Good resume builder
3) Decent training

Cons

Reasons I would advise you to stay clear of Triumvirate:
1) Over worked
2) Underpaid
3) Under valued
4) Disrespected
5) Mismanaged
6) Overall worn out ambiance of colleagues from being stretched too thin
7) Poor Benefits
All in all a money hungry company that sells themselves as "looking out for the employee" but could care less and just needs "boots on the ground"

Office Administrator (Former Employee) –  Somerville, MAJune 21, 2018
This company is a good place to work if you don't have a family to take care of. They expect your job to be your top priority, you are on-call 24/7. Even your lunch break is not your own.
Pros
Locattion is convenient. Pay is decent.
Cons
The hours are long. advancement is very hard to come by

Pros
compensation, healthcare, vacation time
Cons
Slow paced, sometimes convoluted to interact with other departments

A hazardous waste company
Environmental Technician (Current Employee) –  Somerville, MAJune 9, 2018
Triumvirate is mostly a trucking and hazardous waste company. You either drive and haul bio and chemical waste from various locations or you pack and manage to waste so it is properly disposed of. You also do some facilities work such as receiving packages, checking consumables and washroom/dishes.
Pros
Good management, good benefits, good people to work with
Cons
heavy lifting, long hours

Worst company to work for
Field Technician (Former Employee) –  Somerville, MAJune 2, 2018
This organization is challenged with an unhealthy work environment. I suffered nightmares during my short tenure, and would only recommend a position there if there were no other options.

Full of very smart people
Business Manager (Former Employee) –  Orlando, FLMay 29, 2018
Loved starting with this organization with the prospect of developing field services. That focus was changed because it did not fit the sales model of annuity business.

Very strong reliance on the data generated by CRM tools and high requirements for cold calls, new meetings, and other matrices.

Verry profesional, too much oversite
class a truck driver and operator (Former Employee) –  Somerville, MAMay 17, 2018
The job at triumvirate was a very professional environment. The job culture seemed more focused on the employee appearance on paper. You had work to preform everyday and it did require very professional appearance, but the company seemed to focus more on driver logs and appearances then the actual work. This company is very willing to terminate an employee over small details like basic errors in basic math on mileage or missing a placard clip that might be missing on placard mount. Triumvirate had good benefits and the people you worked with were professionals, but the constant stress about a minor error made the experience working with the company uneasy on the daily basis.
Pros
good training
Cons
you had to focus on every minor detail in paperwork more than doing a propper job on the road.

Barcode Technician (Former Employee) –  Baltimore, MDMay 6, 2018
Triumvirate is a great company to work for, it was just way out of the way and not really what i was interested in doing. The people and the actual job was a great overall experience. But im not the type of person to have to sit in a safety meeting every other week it felt like learning the same thing.
Pros
Great benefits and great on application
Cons
Takes awhile to Actually get to work

Former Environmental Specialist (Current Employee) –  Astoria, NYMay 3, 2018
Great place to work if you are motivated to advance your career, I started as an Environmental Specialist and am currently in my fourth management position. The environmental services industry is a fast paced industry with lots of hard work, but this company is focused on training, giving experience, and advancing it's employees.
Pros
advancement, benefits, coworkers, atmosphere, hands on experience
Cons
the field work is hard, but I've always enjoyed hard work.

Facility Technician (Former Employee) –  Jeannette, PAMay 1, 2018
Straight forward work with plenty of overtime. What you make is up to you, really, based on the amount of overtime you're willing to work. The people are all pretty cool. The schedule tends to change...

Environmental Specialist (Former Employee) –  Astoria, NYApril 19, 2018
This job is for kids that have never had a job before in their life. Yes you can learn a lot from the job, but you work 50 + hours a week, get paid $16 per hour, and are tired all the time. The coworkers are GREAT but the job life sucks. It is very physical and they dont properly train their employees proper material handling. I say apply if you are a student with no work experience. Anyone else, look elsewhere. Trust me
Pros
Co workers
Cons
over worked. under paid, physically strenuous, long hours
