8.5 hours with a 30 min lunch (unpaid) and 2 15 mins breaks (paid)

The average pay is significantly lower than the same positions with other (cannabis) companies in the state. This fact hits harder on a weekly basis when state sales are posted and our company is selling 7-8 times more than all other companies.
Management is garbage. Position movement is highly based on politics, not knowledge or drive.

Externals are brought in where promotions should take place.

No internal organization, upper management very closely resembles chickens with their heads cut off.

Everything is a secret, even if your position requires information.

Individual growth is not prioritized, there are no incentives.

Management mostly consists of (white) men. There are hardly any women in any worthy management position.

Hire people that use and have their medical marijuana license for at least a year. That truly knows the benefits of being a patient and your company offers a great product that lets my neighbor with MS talk and walk and family members with cancer that have pain relief and able to eat. You hire a lot of new to the industry.

YOU MAY GET A 1-4% RAISE AFTER YOUR ONE YEAR. IF YO START AT $10.50, WITH 4%, YOU WILL GO TO $10.90. EVEN THOUGH TRULIEVE MAKES 2.5 MILLION DOLLARS A WEEK, OR MORE. Corporate Cannabis greed at its finest!!!!

Co-workers aside, management makes my day a living nightmare. Projects and deadlines are created in the midst of conversations, there is no follow through or communication. I am stuck working on my own, with no support from my management.
I feel extremely over worked and under appreciated.

Save yourself the trouble and go to another higher paying dispensary. where you are actually appreciated and get paid what your worth. Never recommended Trulieve.

To become a professional (in my field) in an up and coming industry. However, I didn't realize I'd be working for the Walmart of Cannabis.

Abusive, abysmal, gut wrenching, and flat out soul sucking.
