Good rates for travel nurses
Registered Nurse (Former Employee) - Reno, NV - September 25, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedTravel nurse rates were the best at this company when I was looking a few months ago. Good online support, well organized website, and reasonable rates for nurses.

No annoying recruiters, quick and easy answers for all questions. Have always had correct pay checks and smooth onboarding. Have worked with them since 2019

Excellent travel nurse company

They are easy to work with. They provide excellent support while on assignment. On boarding was easily understood. Pay was always on time and accurate.

Easy to work with
Travel Nurse (Former Employee) - Varied - August 20, 2023
Supportive team in getting an assignment and while on assignment. Easy to use web/app based interface for losing credentials. On my last contract, the wage from the employer continually increased due to increased need for staff, and I was surprised my wage all increased during the contract, even though I had initially agreed to a lower wage. This seemed to me to be an honest practice, I would not have known of the pay increase had Trusted staff not informed me.

Great but could be better
Registered Nurse (Current Employee) - Milwaukee, WI - August 13, 2023
Overall a great travel agency but their time card submittal due dates are usually inflexible, which can be frustrating after working 3-5 days in a row. Those that answers any questions (Trusted Staff) are usually nice enough but little follow through or give vague answers. Definitely one of the better agencies I've worked through though!

Good travel agency
RN (Current Employee) - Canton, GA - July 26, 2023
I would recommend trusted to anyone wanting to travel. I wouldn't recommend northside cherokee to anyone as their priorities are in the wrong places making it a very difficult and stressful place to work

Trusted provides an excellent, non-stressful, uncomplicated service for travel nurses.
Registered Nurse (RN) (Former Employee) - Everett, WA - July 11, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Minimal contacts from company, streamlined onboarding process and rapid responses when needed. Your not given multiple contacts for different things, you send a text from the web site or app and the appropriate person contacts you almost immediately. The pay is among the highest and their additional hour rates are better than most. I can't say enough good things. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? There are little or no stresses in my experience working with Trusted. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Attentative, responsive and personable. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Not applicable. You do not work directly at Trusted.

Great culture
Operations Coordinator (Former Employee) - Remote - June 27, 2023
...with normal start up growing pains. At one point it was normal to be working 70+hrs a week. Another point, we were afraid of layoffs because there was no work to do. Could be because of the nursing market volatility during COVID. Otherwise, everyone I met was super pleasant and kind.

Highest Offer
Travel Nurse (Current Employee) - California - May 28, 2023
There are lapses but overall good especially the pay. I have not encountered any major issues in terms of pay. In terms of communication, they respond right away or within the day. The only issue I got with them, is that whenever I apply for a new assignment, it's either it's already taken or full. Most of the time, a miss. So make sure you have a lot of options (agencies) to choose to.

Jobs at Trusted Health
Lots of good with some frustration
Travel Nurse (Current Employee) - Newberg, OR - May 22, 2023
Have worked for trusted for a year and a half. They are different then most of the travel companies as you don't have a recruiter. You can see the job details yourself and apply for positions. During Covid their pay was usually significantly higher then other companies, but this has not been the case recently. The idea was that your pay was higher because you aren't paying a recruiter, I don't know what changed but their pay seems average now. Their app works well and makes submitting your time card easy. Paid weekly, never had an issue with getting paid correctly. When you are applying for jobs their communication can be slow, usually don't hear back until the next business day if you have questions.

Payroll always processed correctly and on time. Higher paying contracts compared to most other travelers. Easy compliance. Paid for modules. Overall good experience.

used the pay good, now they lowball you and drop rates after you apply
They are ok, tend be lower paying and can find the same contracts else ware for $300-500 more a week. Benefits are ok, and HSA eligible. 401k match after a couple contracts

Healthcare profressionals Beware
Nurse Advocate Coordinator (Former Employee) - United States - March 14, 2023
Typical work day: 40 hr work week. weekends required. requesting time off was fine as long as you gave a month in advance notice. Requesting it last minute was frowned upon. (7 days or less) What I learned: How the healthcare staffing industry works. Training was all over place, and unorganized. 2 weeks and you're thrown in. However internal community message board (slack) was super helpful. Management: Dumpster fire!- They would say they cared about the well being of the team, how you mattered, but then the moment you spoke up and gave feedback on process improvements- they micromanaged every thing you did. I was told via email and video chat there was room for growth and moving from contractor to full time employee would be awarded after 6 month time period. 6 months came and absolute silence. Was given the run around. Finally a manager admitted in writing there was never room for growth. Workplace Culture: Unstable. Teams were being replaced by staffing company from India due to cheaper labor. Was told on numerous occasions my position was safe. Another lie. Not an upfront company at all. They say all the things you want to here when joining, but then you start to see red flags. Definitely a negative start up culture. Hardest part of the Job: meeting daily Quotas. Enjoyable part of the Job: Helping nurses find and land their travel assignments. best part. Period.

Registered Nurse (Current Employee) - Dallas, TX - March 5, 2023
They are a very different company you don't have a personal recruiter only the app to communicate. Can be frustrating at times but they pay well. Just have to understand noone is there to hold your hand.

Good place to work, remote positions available. The pay is ok, could be better and management could use more training. It’s a good to start if you want to learn about dc Medicaid

Great
RN (Former Employee) - Houston, TX - January 11, 2023
Great company to work as a travel RN. Pay is relatively more than other companies and you basically have a mentor, not just a recruiter hounding you nonstop.

Autonomy and simplicity at its finest
RN Travel Nurse (Current Employee) - Pennsylvania - December 19, 2022
My experience with Trusted has been about as good as I could hope for. Healthcare in general has been a difficult field to work in over the past few years, yet they made the transition to travel nursing easy and straight forward. Of course, nothing is perfect and staying on top of all the forms, annual competencies and compliance every 3 months can be arduous at times. Comparatively, however, it is no more than other agencies, and I believe worth the investment.
Pros
Flexibility, autonomy, simplicity
Cons
Competency & compliance documentation
