Production Worker (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVOctober 9, 2019
No place for advancement! Lots of favoritism going on. Only good thing is the discounts.. but from that it’s a stressful environment. The products at tryke are not worth spending your money on.

Patient Consultant (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVSeptember 6, 2019
Cool company to work with. Just not for me. Learned a lot more about customer service and sales. But other than that they have some work to do especially if they care about their employees like they say they do

Budtender (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVAugust 27, 2019
Understaffed like crazy, do not are about you at all even if you pull in 1 million in sales. If you start speaking your mind they will replace you. If you love yourself, your mental, and physical health go apply down the street at planet 13. This place will destroy your happiness.

Team Member (Current Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVAugust 21, 2019
It is the best place to work hands down. They offer full time with benefits which is hard to find in Las Vegas, because a lot of jobs offer part-time. Can not see myself working anywhere else.

Thank you for choosing Reef-mart
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVAugust 18, 2019
A sinking ship that is full of infighting between cultivation, retail, and the corporate office employees. BS. Drama. Adult-children. Tryke/ Reef used to mean something, but not so much anymore. No culture and a push to improve the bottom-line at any cost. Even if that means pumping out sub-par product that is not flushed, super old, or even expired in some cases ( slap a new date sticker on it! That'll fool em!).

No careers here. Just jobs (<$25k a year) that will eventually suck the life out of you.

This place is hurting the industry and its employees.

Budtender (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVJuly 30, 2019
I worked here 3 years. At the beginning it was the BEST JOB EVER. But, soon realized they trick you with the discounts. They rather you be invisible. The minute eyes are on you...you're a target. People with no experience are promoted ( for a smallllll raise) . Dont even mention the raise you are owed.. &Splitting tips with 10 people...sucks . If you have kids BEWARE they don't care about family life AT ALL.

The managers there are something else. Definitely if you're in their cross hairs, theyll take you out in no time. The pay is really good, but the fact you've gotta split your tips amongst 5 other people their, doesn't let you walk out of there with more than 20-30$ at times.

You Get What You Pay For
Lab/packaging (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVJuly 9, 2019
Majority of employees are males in their 20’s. Science has taught us that this group of people have under developed brains, as far as reasoning and logic.
Give them a job in the Cannabis culture that most of them have no clue about the history of, don’t drug test them for ANYTHING, know that a good portion of them are continually exhausted, under some form of intoxication and could care less about themselves let alone the people around them.
Pay them to disregard all your rules, because you disregard all the state and federal rules.
Never train them never tell them their rights and defend every stupid decision they make. Don’t be surprised when you get exactly what you deserve.

DISPENSARY AGENT (Former Employee) –  Phoenix, AZMarch 7, 2019
The company has not done what it needs to do to stay competitive in this location and industry. On the retail end, they do not treat their employees as valued and have removed many of the previous "perks" that they offered.

Wholesale Manager (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVFebruary 26, 2019
This company does not care about its workers unless you are a higher up. Everyone is expendable and its shown through a lack of management and leadership. They re label expired products and sell old flower. They are rude and unfair to minorities and it shows. I suggest you work for a company that appreciates you and actually organized. They also rip off strains from jungle boys and call it tryke.

Customer Service Trainer (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVNovember 14, 2018
Started with the company back in 2016 and was let go not to long ago and it honest was due to lots of gossip in corporate and rumors spread by people who don’t even know how to manage themselves.I loved the discount and enjoyed the people I worked with but honestly it’s SO much DRAMA and little petty stuff that goes on..Honestly if you love to snitch and being a snob this job is most definitely for you

Biggest Mistake You Will Ever Make
Budtender (Former Employee) –  Sun Valley, NVNovember 5, 2018
I have never worked in such a toxic environment in my life. Company only cares about how much money they can make. They only hire and promote individuals with ZERO experience...it's cheaper that way. Almost impossible to move up unless you are besties with your manager or they want to sleep with you. Do not make the mistake of attempting to work here, it's high school all over again. You will regret it.
Pros
The awesome discount on products.
Cons
You end up hating your life.

Fun workplace but HORRIBLE management/corporate
Budtender/Receptionist (Former Employee) –  Queen Creek, AZSeptember 19, 2018
I really enjoyed budtending for this company, but if you aren't in close with management, you will not succeed. This company uses people up and spits them out without any regard for the employees or the patients. They do not train their dispensary management well, their corporate level does not concern themselves with anything but themselves, and the entire company seems to not be bothered with grotesquely inappropriate sexual misconduct. The benefits are nice, especially the employee discount, but I would NOT recommend working for this company.
Pros
Employee discounts, decent wage
Cons
Sexual misconduct, favoritism, nepotism, poor training overall

Corporate Security Director (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVAugust 21, 2018
Tryke companies started out as a wonderful company and then lost sight of its goals. The CEO quit and the owner took over that role. Only worried about bottom line and the rest is history.

Cons

Favoritism Within Management!
Budtender (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVAugust 16, 2018
Very fun, well-paying job and the tips are more than enough. My only thing was how the black shirt (supervisors) had favoritism from my first day. It's to the point you've got to kiss booty just to be cool with them so they don't find a reason to let you go before your probation. I actually got so cool with one manager that I knew didn't like me, and he still found an opportunity to get me fired. The cherry on top, you get money for telling on an employee so he got cashed out. Great company, the environment is just like high school.
Pros
Product Discounts, Great Pay
Cons
Management is too young minded.
