Report question

Yes, TT Medical works with both physical therapy and occupational therapy assistants that have valid California state licenses.

Answered by TT Medical

Unfortunately, by the laws of California, therapy aides are not permitted to be used in home health, so TT Medical does not employ nor staff therapy aides to any of our patients. This is not to be confused with a Certified Home Health Aide, who would have a different role in patient care.

Answered by TT Medical

We offer flexible employment and contracting plans to fit the diverse needs of our staff. Options include full time, 1 year contract terms and per diem contracts. We like to keep our contracting terms as flexible as possible so that we are not passing up on great clinicians.

The TT office hours are Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM, Pacific Standard Time. Clinicians are not limited to our office's hours and can schedule with patients based on their and the patient's mutual availabilities. This can include early morning, evening and weekend appointments, as long as the patient agrees.

Answered by TT Medical

Staffing/accepting patients is very easy at Therapeutic Touch. We send you staffing requests based on your preferred method of communication. Requests include the full address of the patient so you can decide if you are able to see them based on your availability. If you can take the patient you reply to our inquiry. We send all referrals after 5 pm. Once you receive a referral, you are responsible for seeing the patient within 48 hours.

Answered by TT Medical

No. Unfortunately we cannot work with therapy aides. Since we are primarily a home health staffing company at this point, we are legally not allowed to hire therapy aides. All applicants must be licensed therapists or licensed therapy assistants.

Answered by TT Medical

Yes! We accept Physical Therapy Assistants and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

The entire hiring process can be completed within one day but normally takes a few days based on the applicant's availability for orientation. Here are the steps from inquiry to staffing:

1. You inquire.
2. A recruitment specialist replies to your inquiry to confirm that you are a licensed therapist.
3. Once your license status is confirmed, we send you an application, including a list of credentials that are required to start working.
4. You complete and submit your application, along with the required credentials. The application shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to complete.
5. Once we receive the completed application and credentials, we schedule an interview/orientation, based on your convenience. The interview/orientation normally takes 1-2 hours, including training. If you feel you would like more training, please let your recruitment specialist know and they will coordinate a time that is convenient for you.
6. Once you complete the interview/orientation you are ready to get started.
