Unorganized and unprofessional
Healthcare Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - December 4, 2023
I was super excited to work but after the first day, everything went downhill. Very unprofessional, and unorganized. The trainer talked about being a recovering addict, they only showed videos and was trying to just throw us out into production. I'd never work or recommend this company to anyone unless they were desperate . And be sure to keep up with your own hours, cause they will mess your check up every time!
Pros
Benefits are ok and it's a job to get by
Cons

If contract ends the try to place you in another position. Reasonable pay. Great job to work from home. Team leads are the best! Be prepared for metrics. Do your best.

I would not refer others to work here.
Licensed Insurance Agent (Current Employee) - Texas - December 1, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? You're at home, but doesn't feel like it. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? No HR Department, no one to address concerns. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? No help from anyone. You are thrown out to sea to sink or swim. No one can give you answers to any questions you may have. What is a typical day like for you at the company? More stressful to deal with employees than it is the customers.

Excellent Company to work for!!!
Medicare Sales Specialist (Current Employee) - Remote - December 1, 2023
I personally give TTEC all 5 stars. I've been there for 3 months and I love my job. If you truly try you will get sales, if your a personable and an honest person. Yes some days are slow but on those day it gives a great opportunity to do call backs to build repour with your clients. People on here complain about the pay. If you put in the hours you get paid! $3600 a months good wages in my book. Its a great company to work for. Atleast they let you know upfront this position is seasonal. And yes if your good at sailing there gonna keep u. If your not personable and lie to the customer and don't truly try ofcourse there gonna let you go. Duhhhh!
Pros
It's grat place to work
Cons
The only con i can have is the Compensation bonus., The bonus is a joke., 70$ really and my team was in second place that was suppose to be 40%.

Good place to work
Licensed Insurance Agent (Current Employee) - Remote - December 1, 2023
Good place to work if you enjoy insurance. They will train you and pay for you to get licensed. The training is about 12 weeks and you still don’t feel prepared but it’s really easy.

Extensive Training and Understanding Supervisors
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - December 1, 2023
All customer service jobs can be difficult, but the supervisors at TTEC understood that and insisted if you needed a break to give you a bit to recollect yourself so you can be your best you throughout the day.

Micromanaging
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Dallas, TX - November 30, 2023
The training was a little rushed but there is a lot of micromanaging, they forget a lot of us work at home and things happen. The pay is not bad it’s 16 hr and 17 for bilingual.

Fair
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Remote - November 30, 2023
The money is ok, getting a promotion is like pulling teeth, just be financially prepared for when a contract ends. If you are entry level they may place you elsewhere but if you're management you may not be as lucky

Okay but stressful
Team Lead (Former Employee) - Charlotte, NC - November 29, 2023
You have to be ready to work and learn fast m. If you can find something else beyond the banking side do it for your mental sake…You can find yourself depressed easily

Training could be better
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Las Vegas, NV - November 29, 2023
It was ok, the training environment could be improved by providing trainers that lead by example! A few of them definitely had a power trip and didn't respect the trainees.

Work from home
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - November 29, 2023
That was about the only benefit, other than that there is low pay and really no useful benefits. If you need a job, they hiring process is super smooth and it is not complicated to get hired.

I just started a few weeks ago so I can't give an honest opinion

The training isn't long enough and technical issues. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? I work from home so I don't know What is a typical day like for you at the company? It was ok
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Work from home - November 28, 2023
What they tell you in training about benefits etc is different from what they tell you in production. My manager never did one on ones as she was supposed to. And was always out sick for team meetings so you never really know your progress and how your doing.

A waste of a year in my career.
VP, Digital Sales (Former Employee) - Denver, CO - November 28, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The bus dev tools TTEC invested in (i.e. ZoomInfo). What is the most stressful part about working at the company? I was hired on as an individual contributor for the digital sales group. The problem is that TTEC had aquired 2 companies that weren't merged and the "engage" side of the company still went after accounts. As a result, there were at least 2 or 3 sales teams going after business with no incentive to collaborate. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? N/A - There was very little collaboration. I attribute that to the group vp I reported to ... I believe I talked to him around 5 times over the course of my tenure. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Wondering what I should be selling.

It's okay
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Kansas City, KS - November 28, 2023
Working FNOL is kinda hectic, but listening to people's stories can be entertaining to make it through the documenting. I'd recommend if you like to listen to people's troubles

Great place to gain experience
Account Executive (Former Employee) - Tempe, AZ - November 28, 2023
Learned so much working here that I have been able to build upon. Managers try to keep things fun and in sales roles friendly competition is encouraged. However, managers are under extreme pressure for teams to perform with often unrealistic goals and even moving targets. It’s pretty crushing to be on track to hit or exceed expectations only to have it moved further away.

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Remote - November 27, 2023
I enjoyed working at Ttec. The management team was awesome towards me! The culture and diversity was great. I never had any issues working at ttec. What I gained working at ttec is to be yourself and treat others how you want to be treated!
Pros
Paid time off
Cons
Surveys customers do not know how answer a simple question.

Out of 30 years as Project Manager, this was worse company I have worked for.
Program Manager (Former Employee) - Remote - November 27, 2023
Constantly majoring in minors and trying to track fractional hours for large projects. I was once asked to stop my busy day to track down an entire teams of 6 for reasons why they fell short of billing 8 hours the previous week. This required everyone to stop work to provide me written replies to explain themselves on a 6 month project.
Pros
Resources cared.
Cons
Systems, leadership, priorities, and management.

They need to do better
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Las Vegas, NV - November 26, 2023
Don’t bother Lots of bullying from leads. Unprofessional and extreme micromanaging. Team leads lie to keep their jobs. Coworkers are mostly lazy and uninformed.
