not a good place to work at all
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Tupelo, MSJuly 17, 2018
They don’t give you enough hours . You work one day in a week and only get 4-6 hours . They don’t mention it in your interveiw . They gave a lot of hours when they was in the process of moving though . Pay not worth it at all . Mangers are messy and talks about people . Employees smells !

Sr. Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Brandon, MSJuly 16, 2018
Tuesday Morning is a new opportunity to learn knowledge and leadership in the high-end closeout discount retail employment and a provider of customer service.
Pros
High end merchandise knowledge.

Great job, minimal hours.
Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  Lafayette, LAJuly 16, 2018
Most employees aside from management only got 1-2 shifts a week, normally less than 15 hours per week. However, the job itself was not particularly taxing, when you actually got scheduled. They also had a habit of hiring new people even when current employees did not get enough hours.
Pros
Understand managment
Cons
Short breaks, lack of benefits.

Key Holder and Closer (Former Employee) –  Boulder, COJuly 13, 2018
I loved my time with Tuesday Morning. It was a friendly atmosphere and was able to interact with customers freely. I was a keyholder and the people I worked with were like family. I would still be there if not for the closing of the store.
Pros
work independently
Cons
Trucks were heavy to work

low pay, low hours, simple work
ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Memphis, TNJuly 10, 2018
Tuesday Morning is an easy job to have however the starting pay is absurdly low. There is sometimes opportunity for advancement but outside of that, you're looking at 7.50-8.00 per hour with 5-12 hours a week.
Pros
flexible schedule, easy
Cons
low pay, poor upperlevel managment, no hours

A good company to work for
Sales (Former Employee) –  San Rafael, CAJuly 4, 2018
Great products to sell, great management, and great people whom I've worked with. A typical day at work would be making each department look organized, neat, and presentable. Always greeting the customers and helping the customers find what they need was a great joy. The management on a given day would always give advice to help better build rapport with customers. Lastly on a given day up-selling on products was a joy because, not only Tuesday Morning sells good products, but the products are inexpensive.
Pros
Great products and inexpensive. Great management, and a great team to work for.

Assistant manager (Current Employee) –  West Palm Beach, FLJune 29, 2018
This is largest Tuesday Morning location in Florida, it is staffed the same as stores a third the size. Management expects same bottom line with a store five times the size. The current state of retail is only part time for all positions except store manager. No employee can earn a wage to live independently.

Very demanding and works at a fast paste.
Assistant Store Manager (Former Employee) –  Greenville, NCJune 27, 2018
During a typical day of work there you will be consistently working from the beginning of your to the end. You will learn how to accomplish tasks in a very timely manner. Management will vary from location to location, overall management is good. The hardest part of the job would be managing their trucks days, but most people catch on very fast to the process for unloading truck.
Pros
employees get regularly discounts
Cons
there is absolutely no sitting while on the clock and lots of heavy lifting.

unsafe freight to floor process
Associate (Current Employee) –  Mandeville, LAJune 26, 2018
Extremely unsafe freight to floor process!
Management expects excellent merchandising with no hours to produce this excellence.
Management expects employee to produce a positive experience for shopper, remain upbeat and friendly and stay composed under pressure. These expectations agreeable, pertinent, and fair are what any good employee would like to display but are unfavorable in the "NEW" processing environment.
Tuesday Mornings vision to be a leading competitor of home goods will never happen without the employee, so wake up executives!
Pros
20% employee discount
Cons
no hours, low pay, & getting worse

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Homewood, ALJune 24, 2018
It’s a nice work place but the hour you wouldn’t make it. Great for a second job. Each Tuesday there’s a truck full of great things. You topically work four hour shifts.

Cashier/Floor Design Assistant (Former Employee) –  Bridgeville, PAJune 23, 2018
Tuesday Morning taught me a lot about what goes into running a retail store. I worked all over the store which helped develop my customer service skills in many ways by providing new challenges during the work day.

Great Starter Job
Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  San Antonio, TXJune 19, 2018
Great job for students since the store is open all week and is flexible with scheduling. Opens and closes at a reasonable hour so you have plenty of time for a social life. This job requires you to provide excellent customer service and interact with customers in a comfortable and relaxed workplace. At the end of the evening when the store closes you are required to do a few tasks around the store but nothing too hard.

PART-TIME ASSISTANT MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Brandon, MSJune 19, 2018
It was decent to work there, the work load was easy. You can pretty much work at a place like this in your sleep. Most times the management is good, just really depends on how they act.
