Project Director (Former Employee) – new york city – September 22, 2012
difficult to actually implement programs as designed. Visited several school sites, worked with administration and teachers in the design of student intervention services for at-risk students. Stressful staff development days in the office. Too long, and often not relevant to the job requirements in the field
working in the most challenged schools
programs provided by company were incomplete and kept changing
The mission is compelling and the work meaningful. The culture is conflicted.
School staff (Current Employee) – Manhattan, NY – May 18, 2018
There is a very conflicted culture - both supportive and overly demanding. Depending upon who you report to and which division you work in your experience is also very different. The organization keeps changing and reinventing itself with high staff turnover, both voluntary and not voluntary. The work can be great and is extremely important and meaningful so this is unfortunate.
The people and the mission
The organization is continually changing and has high turnover

Turnaround is in the middle of a lot of change, which can be hard. On the other hand, there is tremendous opportunity. A new CEO will be stepping in, there have been some great new hires and it feels like good changes will keep coming. Lots of VERY dedicated co-workers who deeply care about the mission.
